Why Pilates on Hudson?

Personal Experience:
After years of doing pilates for Post-Rehabilitation in San Francisco, CA, I now pass my knowledge on to you. I focus on correcting muscular imbalances, not just making you "feel the burn". I can and will make you sweat, but in a manner that is consistent with your physical needs. Finding your "Zero Point" Because of my background, I work very hard to find the correct level you are able to work at. That's why I do exercises testing and muscle strength tests, to better see what your strength levels are. If you are pushed beyond that level, you can become frustrated, depressed, and possibly reinjured. I've been there, I understand, and I create a program that gets you better. Structured, Appropraite Progression: It takes six weeks for your muslces to come back "online" if you've been injured or recovering from surgery. It takes 12 weeks for you to develop new muslce fiber. So, I put together a structured program that works at submaximal levels, so you won't get re-injured, and that progresses you gradually. In 12 weeks you will be significantly on your way to returning to your old life. I guarantee it. It's About Trust: If you don't have confidence in the person you're working with to help you, you'll never get better. I understand that feeling all too well. That's why you are completely involved in the process of getting back in shape in a way you have never been before. Additionally, with the take home exercises, and also the customized dvd, you have excellent tools to help keep you progressing. Child-care OptionsThis is a child friendly studio. Children are welcome to accompany their parent in certain circumstances. Children must be between 0 - 8 mos, and 2.5 years or older. Adherence to studio rules must be observed. If you would like to book a lesson but have no child-care, please call the studio.
