Pilates
Private Lesson
A 55 minute Pilates session tailored to your specific needs that focuses on getting you stronger in the most efficient way for you. We work on all the Pilates equipment at a level that you are comfortable with and able to do, placing strong emphasis on maintaining correct form throughout the session. An NKT Initial Evaluation and Lesson is recommended before starting private lessons if you have any physical issues that you are dealing with.
Partner Lesson
A minimum of 10 private lessons recommended before starting Partner lessons, or, you can begin with another person who is at a similar level. We can arrange a partner for you or you can come with a person of your choosing.
This is a 55 minute session working with another client (must be pre-arranged) and trainer, employing mutually beneficial exercises for both parties. The benefits of working with a partner include you both get more personalized attention throughout the session but the cost is lower. Recommended for those who do not have any significant orthopedic issues.
Trio Lesson
Three people doing combined mat and equipment training. Differs from a small group in that you are able to schedule at a time that works for you.
Small Group Training
After a three year hiatus, we are returning to small group training. This is in person group sessions on either mat, reformer, chair or tower or other pieces of small equipment. Classes can be specific to the equipment and/or level or can be circuit workout.
Beginning Ballet Workout
In this small group class, you will learn the basics of ballet from foot and arm positions to basic movements and exercise and learn how to keep time with the music while also executing the movements. Both a physically and mentally stimulating way to exercise.

Neurokinetic Therapy
NKT Initial Evaluation and Lesson
Neurokinetic Therapy is truly the most amazing technique I have ever personally experienced. It is a way of looking at injury and dysfunction in the body in a completely unique way, by finding mal-adaptive muscle firing patterns and seeing how they affect your movement. Once discovered, corrections are given, a plan is developed, and you are on your way to feeling better.
NKT works simbiotically with Pilates in that they are both focused on increasing core strength. NKT by finding and correcting imbalances that are preventing your core muscles from firing correctly, and Pilates by slowly progressing you from a basic and beginning level to a place of strength in a slow and disciplined, objective way.
A typical NKT Initial Evaluation and Lesson includes:

PNF stretching, otherwise known as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, is a technique of muscle stretching that is considered the fastest way to increase your range of motion. This technique is commonly used on dancers and athletes in rehabilitation settings and is heralded as the safest and best stretching technique. PNF was originally developed in the 1940s to help people suffering from neurological conditions such as polio regain movement and lower the tone in the muscles.
