Even as we resume small group sessions, to respect everyone's health, masks are still required in the studio.
Our small group training on Pilates equipment is a great way to continue your Pilates work in more affordable way. The sessions are 55 minute long and occur throughout the week. Our experienced instructors take you through a varied workout, utilizing all the different pilates equipment and small equipment, including the reformer, tower, cadillac, chair, other small equipment such as foam rollers, arc barrels, small weights and other props depending on the number of attendees. With a maximum of 5 people, our classes are a great way to compliment or transition your Pilates routine in to a group setting while still getting plenty of personal attention.
Mat Classes:
With a maximum of 6 people, this small group session takes you through the basics of pilates mat, or floor exercises, which are designed to increase core strength and overall flexibility. Utilizing body weight, bands, rollers, and fitness circle, you will get a full body workout that challenges all the muscle groups and leaves you feeling energized, not exhausted!
Reformer Classes:
With a maximum of 3 people, these sessions take you through a full workout on the pilates reformer. With exercises that range from the very basic to very advanced, you will be stretched and challenged in a totally new way. Utilizing spring tension and ropes and pulleys, this piece of equipment has been lauded by professional dancers for over 50 years as the best way to get and stay in shape. If you are new to it, start with a beginner session.
Tower Session:
With a maximum of 5 people, the pilates tower sessions use spring attached to a vertical frame, along with the "push through bar" for a truly unique exercise routine that can range from beginning to advanced. Incorporating fitness circles and small balls makes it even more challenging. Start with a beginning session if you are new.
Chair Session:
The Wunda Chair was invented by Joe Pilates as a means of having a smaller version of the reformer to work on. Extremely versatle in what you can do on it, yet small in statue, this unique piece of equipment will really put your balance to the test. Also ranging from beginning to advanced exercises. Maximum 3 per session. Start with beginning if new.
Barrels:
Truly one of the most underrated pieces of Pilates equipment are the Pilates barrels. Like all other pilates equipment, exercises can range from the very basic to advanced balance challenges. Many clients who have weak neck, back and core muscles use the barrels to support the body, allowing you to deepen your connection to your core while exercising in proper form. Takes place on the floor. Maximum 5 per session.
Jump Board:
A strenuous workout on the reformer with the addition of the Jump Board, this challenging 1/2 hour workout will make you feel like you've just run a race. Guaranteed to get your heart race pumping, excellent for foot and knee strengthening, and just a lot of fun. Maximum 3 per session.
Circuit session:
Love pilates? Let's mix it up. This session will utilize multiple pieces of equipment, from mat to barrels, reformer and chair, tower and fitness circle. Reserved for experienced practitioners. Max 6 per session.
