Appointment Reservations
All sessions are by appointment only and on a ‘first- come, first-serve’ basis. To ensure that you obtain the appointments you desire, please make reservations one to two weeks in advance. Payment is required at time of booking to secure your appointment(s). Prices are subject to change without notice. Appointments may be made in person, online, or over the phone.
Appointment Cancellations / Rescheduling
PLEASE NOTE that these policies are in place to minimize disruption to our clients and as a courtesy to our instructors who are compensated on a per session basis.
Cancellation Policy: Our time together is valuable. In order to honor the commitment that each of us have made to your appointment (private, partner session or group class) notice of cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment given less than **24 hours** in advance will result in a full charge for that appointment.
As the studio is closed on Sunday, Monday morning appointments must be canceled or rescheduled prior to 2pm on Saturday to avoid being charged.
Cancellations are ONLY accepted via Schedulicity, in person, or by phoning the Studio.
We request if possible you cancel via Schedulicity as email is sometimes delayed. This is the fastest and most accurate way for us to keep track of client's appiontments. However, if you are cancelling a group session we request that you also email us as a courtesy. These policies apply to Gift Certificate appointments as well.
Because we rely on information on our scheduling app to be current, examples of unacceptable cancellation/scheduling notices are as follows:
- Social media messages (Facebook, Blog, Twitter)
- Text messages to instructor or studio personnel
- having a friend inform us of your absence
IF YOU DID NOT CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION ONLINE VIA SCHEDULICITY, THE APPOINTMENT IS STILL CONSIDERED BOOKED UNLESS YOU RECEIVE CONFIRMATION FROM OUR PERSONNEL STATING OTHERWISE. This is to ensure accurate availability reflecting on the scheduling system for clients interested in attending that session time.
If you have a standing appointment time, inconsistent attendance or repeated cancellations will result in the loss of that time slot regardless of 24 hour notice.
Scheduling an appointment represents your acceptance of these policies.
Booking, Payment and Package Expiration
To ensure you have an adequate understanding of Pilates basics, we require a minimum of 3 private sessions prior to joining partner or group sessions. In the beginning we recommend two or three sessions per week for optimal growth and results.
Payment is due at the time of booking your appointment(s). We accept payment via cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or Amex. Sessions may be purchased individually or in packages at a reduced rate (to honor frequent attendance). All sessions and packages must be completed prior to expiration. Expiration begins from date of package purchase.
Expiration Policy: Please choose your packages carefully. Private, Partner, and Group Class session packages of 3, 5, and 10 sessions expire 3 months from date of purchase and Private packages of 20 sessions expire 6 months from date of purchase. Gift certificates expire 12 months from date of purchase, and package expiration policies apply once gift certificate is redeemed. It is the student’s responsibility to monitor the expiration date of the packages and sessions they have purchased.
**Note: A one-time extension to a Private or Partner package expiration date may be considered on an exception basis (i.e. unexpected medical reason causing you to miss more than a month of training, with a valid physician’s release). Vacations and trips are not covered under this exception. Contact us for details.
Standing appointments are given ONLY to clients who purchase packages, and are only reserved for the number of sessions in said package. Inconsistent attendance or repeated cancellations will result in the loss of that time slot regardless of 24 hour notice.
Refunds
All sales are final. Please choose your purchases carefully as we do not offer refunds of any kind or under any circumstance.

Tardiness
Students arriving more than 15 minutes late for a group session will not be allowed to attend and will be charged for a late cancellation. Please provide notice if you suspect you will be late.
Attire
Appropriate attire is required. Please wear comfortable non-restrictive clothing. If you wear loose clothes be sure to wear under garments. No shoes are allowed but all students must wear socks on their feet, pursuant to the New York State Health Department regulations.
Personal Belongings
Please leave all personal belongings in one of the changing areas or on the coat rack. Clothing, bags and shoes should not be left on the equipment. Pilates on Hudson is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
